Filemon the burro

This little guy was on his way to the slaughterhouse when we spied him aboard a neighbor’s truck. The farmer was only too happy to unload him for a price, so our farm family grew by one more. He’s grateful for a new chance at life, and greets us noisily every morning. How like the wonderful way Jesus rescued US on our way to destruction!
